The Digital Marketing Specialist is an integral member of ALM Positioners Marketing Communications team, developing, executing, and maintaining the organization’s digital marketing campaigns reflecting our marketing and brand strategy. The Digital Marketing Specialist will support digital campaigns, ad strategy, content creation, and execution working closely with multiple teams across the organization.

 

This position will report to the Senior Marketing Coordinator

 

Responsibilities

  • Manages paid search marketing campaigns across multiple search engines and multiple geographies to ensure ALM Positioners goals are met, including possible transitioning from agency search management to a client in-house solution.
  • Manages day-to-day paid search campaigns, including keyword generation, ad copywriting and testing, bid management, landing page optimization, budget management etc.
  • Serves as the primary contact and subject-matter expert for paid search with both internal and external contacts.
  • Researches, collects, and analyzes data, leveraging internal and external resources, and data sources to report on successes and actionable opportunities for paid search programs.
  • Utilizes bid management tools and data modeling to maximize the effectiveness of pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns; negotiates for pay-per-conversion opportunities.
  • Generates and disseminates management reporting to ensure the wider team knows campaign performance trends.
  • Manages paid search budgets, keeping campaigns on budget and within performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to create landing pages and conversion opportunities for lead generation to optimize the user experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager (Facebook Ads and LinkedIn ad management isn’t required but is a plus).
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Experience with basic WordPress and landing page software such as Webflow (or at a minimum the desire to learn).
  • Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven record of successful budget management and management of advertising channels to meet target KPIs thresholds necessary for the business’s success.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, and marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite).

 

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising/public relations, or related field.
  • Preferred experience of 3-5 years
